Deep in the forests of Lothlórien lies a terrifyingly beautiful Elven witch. Glorious to all who behold her, she's by far the fairest maiden in all of Middle Earth, yet none are brave enough to approach her. Alas, the unlikeliest of all Middle Earthien folk rose to the challenge, imagining at first that he would never be starstruck by the likes of an elf. But yet, in the glowing fog and the mystical wildernesses of the elves, Gimli son of Gloin, whose heavy footfalls and ragged breathing could be heard for miles, was struck.
Awe-inspired as he was, Gimli wasn't the only creature surprised by his infatuation with Galadriel, the Lady of the Light. Perhaps she put some witchy spell on him to become enamoured, but with only 3 strands of her golden hair, Gimli's life would never be the same. Who knew that this stubborn ol' dwarf would become the elves's greatest advocate!
As it turns out, we are all equally mystified by the LOTR movies. Enchanted by the lore and depth of the movies, we too, surprise ourselves every year with another Lord of the Rings marathon. As expected, the journey gets more lovely with age, just like the Lady of Lothlórien herself.
